Love, what a wild and crazy word. A word that can be used to help and hurt. We have seen people ruin their own lives because they loved something. Things like power, money, prestige, and fame are things that people love and it brings them to ruins. Others have chased relationships to the point that their own life suffered needlessly. But when we pursue real love, God’s love, we will be renewed.

Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. (1 Corinthians 13:4-7 ESV)

This is the love that God has for us. A love that is kind and patient. A love that cares more for us than anything one else ever could. So turn to a love that never fails.
