Remember as a kid the magic of a Lite Brite? You would stick plastic pieces into the assigned holes to make a colorful picture. If you followed the right instructions the pictures would come to life and when lite up it seemed almost magical. The same can be said for your life. 

Did you know that in Christ God calls you a light. Ephesians 5:8 says you are no longer darkness but light in the Lord. You are light. But the struggle for many of us is we try to put out life-Brite pieces in the holes that we want and not how God wants. And even though the light is behind us the picture isn’t so great. 

But when we follow God’s pattern and trust his word our life can be and already is a light. But do you believe it? Do you believe that God is so great and awesome that He can take your messed up lite Brite life and turn it into a masterpiece? 

So today consider obeying God and being a light. Follow his instructions for living and see how He can make his light shine in you so bright that it will be clear that your are His and He is your light. Be a Lite Brite for Christ.
